This information is incorrect. The correct information about the West Orange Mid-Summer Swiss is currently located at www.westorangechess.webs.com in the News section under Game 50 Tournament.

I have corrected the post.

FYI, the original info was was e-mailed to me by the WCC President on July 10 & I had to go through several machinations to view it, as it was buried in some obscure postage-stamped image (a .snb file) created by the event's Chief TD.

The WCC website was also inaccessible when I received the info.

P.S. - While we are on the subject of getting WCC info correct, Mauricio Camejo & Ari Minkov tied for 1st in the 2014 West Orange CC Championship, with 4.0/5.

For some reason, the crosstable at http://www.uschess.org/msa/XtblMain.php?201404086062, shows D. Race winning by 1.5 points when, in fact, he tied for 3rd.

Thanks for correcting the post. And the reason Doran Race was at the top of the crosstable is, at the WOCC, extra games are combined with the tournament games and submitted as one event instead of listing tournament games and extra games separately, as you do.

The winners deserved to see their names at the top of the standings.

Creating another section would only have taken a minute.

I agree. Of course they do.

I've made the suggestion before. I'll bring it up again.
