#828 Kenilworth Quads Start Thursday

The Kenilworth Chess Club is running USCF-rated, G/60 Quads from May 12-26th.

Registration is from 8:00-8:25 p.m on the 12th.

Games will begin at 8:30 p.m. on 5/12, 5/19 and 5/26
(1 per week).


The entry fee is $10.
Prizes : $30 to 1st in each quad.
USCF membership is required.

A 51-board correspondence match between the U.S. and Germany has just started.

I'm sitting out but at least 2 New Jerseyans are in the lineup: West Orange CC Champion NM Peter Radomskyj (board 21) and Jerry Pitter (board 47), one of my foes from the 15th USCCC Prelims.

#823 Ellner Wrap-Up

3rd round games from the Ellner Memorial have been uploaded in java-replay and zipped PGN.

#822 Kernighan Wins Ellner Memorial

Mark Kernighan defeated Ken Chieu in a time scramble to win the Irving Ellner Memorial Swiss for the 4th straight year.

Chieu, Ian Mangion and I shared 2nd-4th places. There was a 4-way tie for U1600 honors. All 8 players in the event won a prize!!
