#465 Garden State League Opens Tonight

The Garden State Chess League begins its inagural season tonight with 3 matches at the West Orange Chess Club :

• Kenilworth Karpovs vs. Staten Island
• Hamilton vs. Summit
• Sparta vs. West Orange

All are scheduled to start at 8:00 p.m.

The Karpovs' opening night lineup is :

1. FM Steve Stoyko 2248
2. Michael Goeller 2034
3. Max Sherer 1655
4. Mike Wojcio 1626
   

The other Kenilworth entry, the Kortchnois, will play Maplewood on Thursday, 7 p.m. start time.
